Great episode guys. I agree it was the best so far. I was with you the whole way and several times I even spoke out loud in agreement or with the same quotes (while sitting at my desk at work). I even took notes this time so I'd remember what I wanted to comment on. I bought the Season 20 Blu Ray and was very pissed to find out it was literally just the episodes, no commentary or anything. I've been recording the episodes onto my computer since Season 15 so I already had that. But I'm a sucker, just like I bought the DVD of The Simpsons movie, and then the blu-ray version later as well because it had one or two extra features. I loved the Simpsons arcade game so much. It was always my dream to own one, but I did the next best thing. I converted an empty arcade cabinet into a MAME machine, then made a custom control panel and marquee for it. Named it Moe's Arcade. I've got some pics here: http://bradc.imgur.com/arcade_cabinet. Also, when you turn the machine on it plays this video. I created and animated everything except for the Homer model (which I downloaded from somewhere): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4H02SpJn2g It's currently in storage because my apartment is too small for it. :( Regarding the Simpsonsd action figures and talking playsets, I have a ton of those. A friend bought me the first Treehouse of Horror set for Christmas (I think it was 2000 or 2001) and I bought every single figure and playset that came out for the next several years. Eventually I got rid of some of them, but I still have a lot. Those things were awesome (still are.) The last thing I wanted to comment on came to me when you were mentioning syndication cuts. There are two that I love but always get cut: In 'Dial "Z" for Zombies' Groundskeeper Willie is tending a garden when a zombie crawls out of the ground. He shouts, "Ach! Zombies!" then smooths the ground over and says, "There, pretty as a picture." Then repeats it again. That scene always gets cut. The second one is in Realty Bites when Kirk Van Houten is driving a convertible and holding his sandwich up, complaining about it not being sliced, then he drives through the piano wire Snake had strung between two trees (trying to catch Homer) and it buts his forearm completely off. They always cut that out, but leave in the scene at the end of the episode where you can see Kirk in line at the Unemployment Office, with his arm bandaged. Now that those are out of the way, you guys hit on some great emotional moments of the show, some I hadn't thought of previously. It really makes me wish I had more time to sit down with my DVDs and watch old episodes, if nothing more than just to remember those moments that I've forgotten about. See you guys next time.
